Glossary of Places
Cities
Chang'an City
A
former imperial capital of the mortal realms, this area is the second
city in the game. It is connected to Zhongnan Foothills and Weichuan
Highlands, and contains the dungeon Nightmare Temple of Mercy.
Cloudrise
The main capital of the game. This is the land of the immortal cultivators. All class zones are available here, as well as portals to weekly leisure events such as Gold of the Four Seas and Realm of Truth.
Jiangdu City
Another imperial capital of the mortal realms, located along the water. This is the final city available in release. It is connected to Shanghuai Grassland and contains the dungeon Chou Prison.
Zones
Blade Peak of Taihua Mountain (level 1-2)
The location of an ancient battle in which three Bladehearts were sealed away. After the Devastator Cult attacks, Zhenren Nanxun activates a formation to seal the mountain away. This is the starting area.
Valley of a Hundred Grasses (level 3-4)
A sect which fell under attack by the Devastator Cult. The Lunar Crown Tree which guards the sect is attacked, rendering the sect vulnerable.
Heavenly Ridge (level 4-8)
A place where humans and cultivators coexist with Nocturnal Spirits. It is notably not connected to any of the other mortal zones, only accessible through Cloudrise.
Zhongnan Foothills
A
large diverse zone divided into two sub areas. You proceed through the
north-west corner early in the game before heading to Chang'an. Later,
you get to explore the rest of the map and access late-game maps.
Connected to Cloudrise, Chang'an city, Huaixiu Village, Baxian Plateau,
as well as Shanghuai Grassland via boat.
Weichuan Highlands (level 20-24)
A dusty, golden area with tall cliffs, farms, and a mushroom forest. Weichuan has the last drill dungeon available, which is the Frostbitten Path. Connected to Zhongnan Foothills and Huaxiu Village.
Huaixiu Village (level ?)
Scenic bamboo area with ghosts in the northern half. Reaching Huaxiu gives you the first look at Heroic Events, which are daily event quests you can complete for rewards. It is connected to Weichuan Highlands and Zhongnan Foothills.
Baxian Plateau (level ?)
An icy, frozen area high in the mountains. It has many rare resources. Only connected to Zhongnan Foothills.
Shanghuai Grassland (Student 1)
A sprawling area along the water with many towering temples, statues, and mountains. Connects to Cloudrise, Zhongnan Foothills via boat, and Jiangdu City.

Summoner Heartlands • Valley of the Sea of Fragrant Flowers
A field of flowers surrounding statues of the Goddess Nuwa.
Bard Heartlands • Mountain of Wondrous Creation
A pristine mountaintop with mysterious fog.
Reaper Heartlands • Chasm of Remote Chaos
A deep underground area with dark architecture.
Spellsword Heartlands • Sunken Jade Lake
A frozen wonderland surrounding a lake that mirrors the sky.
Berserker Heartlands • Beautiful Rapture Quarter
A treetop with wooden platforms and lush greenery.
Spearmaster Heartlands • Star Tempest
A fleet of airships and contraptions soaring in the air.
Dungeon Instances
Yemo City in Wuzhao
Located in Heavenly Ridge. This dungeon takes you back in time to a clash between the Hezhao and Wuzhao which resulted in turning the Wuzhao clan into Nocturnal Spirits.
Nightmare Temple of Mercy
Located in Chang'an City. You enter the mind of a child to quell the nightmares he faces after witnessing the attack of the general on the "Emperor" at the Temple of Mercy.
Frostbitten Path
Located in Weichuan Highlands. You travel a hidden underground path and encounter minions of Meijia.
Chou Prison
Located in Jiangdu. In this dungeon you explore the hidden prison under the Zhou estate and discover the swordswoman in black who has been committing murders around the city.
Underwater Ruins of Nuowu
Located in Shanghuai Grassland. You enter the ruins to quell an ancient evil from rising.
Raid Instances
Jade Palace
Located in Zhongnan Foothills. The fox spirits seem to have been enchanting boatswains and cultivators to lure them away. You investigate the disappearances and discover demonic minions.
Horror of Huaixiu
Located in Huaixiu Village.
Waves in a Tempest
Located in Shanghuai Grassland(?).
Activity Zones
Dragon Turtle Island
A summery island in which various fun activities take place, including fishing tournaments and summer fun.
Origami Realm
An inner world with blocky graphics accessible through the skills menu.
Valley of Echoing Blades
An open world PvP zone for roaming.
Glossary of People
Blade Peak of Taihua Mountain
Zhenren Nanxun
A white-haired bard with an eyepatch. She is one of the leaders of Taihua Mountain. She raises a formation to protect the mountain from the Devastator Cult's attack.

She greets you when you first arrive at Blade Peak.
Valley of a Hundred Grasses
Haocang
A mohist of the Valley of a Hundred Grasses. He was set to be the next leader of the sect, and his wife was the current sect Grandmaster's daughter. However, he betrayed his sect for unknown reasons.

The leader of the Valley of a Hundred Grasses.

Cloudrise • The Qin League
Lilane
A deer spirit whose master was Zhenren Chixia. Now in human form, she is one of the most respected people in the Qin League. Her human form is based on her master, Chixia.
Kunwuzi
A panda spirit who is one of the most knowledgeable people on the care and maintenance of Bladehearts. He assists the player with advice on various artifacts.
